With years of coaching and the parent of a youth soccer player, Coach Scott brings his experience and insights together to develop players and prepare them for the next step in their soccer journey.
Coach Scott holds licenses from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), United Soccer Coaches (USC) and the TOVO Institute.
Coach Scott was the Head Coach of a boys’ varsity high school team; Men’s Assistant Coach, University at Albany; Head Coach for the Adirondack Region in the Empire State Games; and was General Manager at the Hampton Roads Mariners (A-League). In addition to his duties at Hudson Valley Athletic Club, he coaches in the Olympic Development Program (ODP).
Coach Scott manages the soccer advancement of his son, who is currently playing for the U-14 New England Revolution Development Academy. Along the way, his son played for Cedar Stars Academy, STA, Fox Soccer Academy, and TSF. Coach Scott also had him participate in clinics, showcases and tournaments and, finally, train at the TOVO Institute where he excelled. Subsequently, his son was selected to attend the ODP National Team Camp and rostered on the New England Revolution Academy.
With his broad coaching experience and parenting journey with his son, Coach Scott works with a network of coaches across the US to help players achieve their goals.
